Ivar Gunnarsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgilio Cordaro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Yngve Wållander struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Virgilio Cordaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skënderbeu FC. When the match was over Skënderbeu FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rrape throughout the match.
