After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Junior Rowland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Isle Of Dogs FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Junior Rowland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cody Welch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Isle Of Dogs FC defense, Ronnie Smith kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Winterbottom. The Isle Of Dogs FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Winterbottom should have stopped the shot. Cody Welch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Junior Rowland in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Tewkesbury's goal looked a bit too open when Junior Rowland came free, but Cody Welch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 played minutes Tewkesbury got a freekick which was hit by Kirk Spencer. Junior Rowland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cody Welch having to interfere. Blair Meehan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cody Welch having to interfere. Cody Welch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Junior Rowland in the 26th minute of the match. Tewkesbury's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Junior Rowland 28 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Junior Rowland received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cody Welch came out and tried to block the shot, but Junior Rowland slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 32nd minute. If Doug Chegwyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doug Chegwyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Junior Rowland reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cody Welch. The goal made the score 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, one of Tewkesbury:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tewkesbury. In the 54th minute there was a penalty for Isle Of Dogs FC. Howard Carter stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cody Welch. 4-1. Junior Rowland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ronnie Smith had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Doug Chegwyn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Blair Meehan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Junior Rowland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cody Welch having to interfere. When Ronnie Smith came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Tewkesbury fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronnie Smith couldn't finish the play. After 80 played minutes Isle Of Dogs FC got a freekick which was hit by Laurence Heywood. If Blair Meehan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Junior Rowland in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cody Welch saved Tewkesbury from getting behind. Jonathan Winterbottom was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Ronnie Smith capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ronnie Smith really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. The audience was convinced that Blair Meehan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cody Welch was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. 92 minutes into the match, Isle Of Dogs FC's goalkeeper Jonathan Winterbottom had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronnie Smith.
