Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Patrick Wild made the kick off and thus started the match. Toby Wiltshire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robbie Alderson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walter Silk struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Edward Fountain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Santa Coloma. Robbie Alderson might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toby Wiltshire. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robbie Alderson ran back to his position shaking his head. 13 minutes into the match, Bow's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Wild came free, but Edward Fountain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Sammy Hardcastle fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Mark Hardwick charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mark Hardwick the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bow booed when FC Santa Coloma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Hardwick didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robbie Alderson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Toby Wiltshire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bow's Robbie Alderson got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sammy Hardcastle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Toby Wiltshire made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sammy Hardcastle got free with Toby Wiltshire in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Denis Evans hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Joseph Button charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joseph Button the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Walter Silk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edward Fountain read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. After 43 minutes of play, FC Santa Coloma's Walter Silk made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edward Fountain was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Sammy Hardcastle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bow's supporters rose to their feet, but Sammy Hardcastle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toby Wiltshire breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half FC Santa Coloma were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robbie Alderson to strike the kick off in the second half. Sammy Hardcastle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edward Fountain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Evans, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 68 minutes, Sammy Hardcastle made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Santa Coloma's Toby Wiltshire tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th play minute Walter Silk came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Edward Fountain. 1-2. A collision led to FC Santa Coloma getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Sam Faith hit a great ball. Sammy Hardcastle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Toby Wiltshire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walter Silk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Fountain having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Santa Coloma walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
