Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Robbie Alderson started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute of the game, Sebastian Allison landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Robbie Alderson hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. If Sammy Hardcastle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sammy Hardcastle got free with Jake Bensley in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute of the match Darius Messenger shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edward Fountain showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 18 minutes, Ivor Oldham mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Culcheth and the Bow players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bow booed when Culcheth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivor Oldham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robbie Alderson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 21st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 30 minutes into the match, Sammy Hardcastle notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Culcheth's Jake Bensley. Jake Bensley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sammy Hardcastle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jake Bensley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Sammy Hardcastle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jake Bensley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Robbie Alderson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Sammy Hardcastle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jake Bensley was a little too slow when Robbie Alderson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jamal Winterburn to make the kick off. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Culcheth! Stuart Scholes shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 63rd minute Robbie Alderson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jake Bensley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Bow booed when Culcheth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivor Oldham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brett Fieldwick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jake Bensley having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Sammy Hardcastle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jake Bensley was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Sammy Hardcastle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jake Bensley having to interfere. Robbie Alderson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Jake Bensley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jake Bensley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Hardcastle in the 85th minute of play. After 87 played minutes Bow got a freekick which was hit by Spike Bland. Spike Bland kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Sammy Hardcastle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Bow booed when Culcheth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivor Oldham didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Robbie Alderson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bow's supporters rose to their feet, but Robbie Alderson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jake Bensley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 97 minutes into the game, Miles Collier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Culcheth's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bow the free kick. After a rather tough play, Culcheth's Miles Collier got a free kick in the 97th minute. In the 99th minute, Louie Basham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bow had played much better football throughout.
