Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ray Hales started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience was convinced that Curtis Tomkins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ron Briant was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. The supporters of Lancing AFC booed when Culcheth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Louie Basham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Culcheth's Jake Bensley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ray Hales in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Culcheth booed when Lancing AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fitz Gray didn't get a good kick on the ball. Culcheth's Jake Bensley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierce Armstrong in the 24th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Louie Basham left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Culcheth fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miles Wildman during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th match minute, Lancing AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miles Wildman to maneuver through the defense. Ronan Titmus hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Culcheth's Darius Messenger tried to score from far away in the 39th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Culcheth's goalkeeper Jake Bensley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jake Bensley came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Lancing AFC's Pierce Armstrong. But to his dismay, Pierce Armstrong quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a rather tough play, Culcheth's Robbie Moyse got a free kick in the 48th minute. Sonny Haskell was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 49th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Curtis Tomkins made a kick off. Jake Bensley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ray Hales's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. After a rather tough play, Culcheth's Fred Knight got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 66 minutes of play Lancing AFC's Ronan Titmus was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Pierce Armstrong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Culcheth's goalkeeper Jake Bensley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ivor Oldham's late challenge caught a Lancing AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivor Oldham helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, Ivor Oldham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pierce Armstrong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jake Bensley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 minutes, Fitz Gray mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lancing AFC and the Culcheth players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fitz Gray kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Pierce Armstrong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Jake Bensley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Culcheth getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Fred Knight hit a great ball. 98 minutes into the match, Lancing AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Curtis Tomkins came free, but Ron Briant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
