The crowd rose to their feet as Fred Ely kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ged Downton. That made the score 3-0 in the 35 minute of play. Ged Downton didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Stamford United's Fred Ely shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Ged Downton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justin Law in the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Fred Ely had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ged Downton. Milton City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fred Ely was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 91st minute, Justin Law made a precise shot to the right of Ged Downton. Milton City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Fred Ely scored 8-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ged Downton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Stamford United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
