Giles Seward showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After having played for 14 minutes, Joseph Woodhall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venture Electronics's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joseph Woodhall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giles Seward got free with Jacob Stonehouse in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marc Featherstone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hayden Tucker in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Venture Electronics was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Graeme Crittenden to maneuver through the defense. When Perry Blewitt came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Club Atlétic Andorra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Perry Blewitt couldn't finish the play. When Club Atlétic Andorra's Drew Fox in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venture Electronics's goalie prevented a goal. In the 24th minute, Perry Blewitt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marc Featherstone was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Hayden Tucker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 34 minutes of play, Club Atlétic Andorra's Drew Fox made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marc Featherstone was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 37 minutes, Drew Fox managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlétic Andorra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Drew Fox was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Venture Electronics getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Philip Knightley hit a great ball. The Club Atlétic Andorra fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Club Atlétic Andorra's Drew Fox looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giles Seward to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Den Laycock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Venture Electronics booed when Club Atlétic Andorra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Shipley didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th match minute, Venture Electronics was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Graeme Crittenden to maneuver through the defense. Perry Blewitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Club Atlétic Andorra's Brian Shipley got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After having played for 67 minutes, Drew Fox managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlétic Andorra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Drew Fox was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute, Perry Blewitt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Drew Fox fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Featherstone having to interfere. Drew Fox who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Marc Featherstone when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Club Atlétic Andorra's Jude Sheene got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hayden Tucker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Featherstone having to interfere. Venture Electronics's Den Laycock got his second yellow card of the match in the 76th minute. The referee ordered Den Laycock off the ground. In the 77th minute, Den Laycock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marc Featherstone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Drew Fox's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Drew Fox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Drew Fox fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Featherstone having to interfere.
