Scott Hodges came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Kendal's Austin Mills. But to his dismay, Austin Mills quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Scott Hodges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zane Bray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Scott Hodges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zane Bray in the 27th minute of the match. Steve Wootton charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Steve Wootton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, MISCO FC's Scott Hodges got control of the ball when Zane Bray tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Kendal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Austin Mills got free with Scott Hodges in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute, Paul Downton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Kendal's Austin Mills slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Scott Hodges. That made the score 0-8 after 72 minutes of play. Wayne Platt took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Scott Hodges. Scott Hodges dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. MISCO FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Wayne Platt scored to the left of an out of position Scott Hodges, making the score, 0-10. 85 minutes into the match, MISCO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Austin Mills came free, but Scott Hodges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Austin Mills reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Scott Hodges. The goal made the score 0-11. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wayne Platt in the 90th minute of play forced MISCO FC's goalkeeper Scott Hodges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Kendal could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than MISCO FC throughout the match.
