Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mathibela Macheke kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the game, Dumisane Cassim recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lucky Kanku. Dumisane Cassim showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Boegoeberg's Thabile Macheke got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 11th minute, Boegoeberg's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dumisane Cassim fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Timothy Radebe struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Lucky Kanku didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bloemspruit. The supporters of Bloemspruit booed when Boegoeberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thabile Macheke didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 21 played minutes Boegoeberg got a freekick which was hit by Mathibela Macheke. Mathibela Macheke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kenny Mbheki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucky Kanku having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Timothy Radebe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bloemspruit's supporters rose to their feet, but Timothy Radebe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucky Kanku breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kenny Mbheki struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Lucky Kanku didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bloemspruit. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kenny Mbheki made a kick off. Lucky Kanku didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kenny Mbheki went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Lucky Kanku took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenny Mbheki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute Boegoeberg were awarded a corner. Mathibela Macheke went to the cornerflag to take it. 80 minutes into the game, Kenny Mbheki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Lucky Kanku was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 86th minute Mathibela Macheke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mthunzi Maduna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mathibela Macheke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Bloemspruit's zone, Mathibela Macheke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mthunzi Maduna came out of the goal and Mathibela Macheke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mathibela Macheke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Mthunzi Maduna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathibela Macheke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mathibela Macheke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
