Sizwe Mafuna charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sizwe Mafuna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darren Bartlett in the 21st minute of play forced Blaton FC's goalkeeper Mpenza Kubheka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolas Koen struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Mpenza Kubheka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Walker Knights. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darren Bartlett in the 25th minute of play forced Blaton FC's goalkeeper Mpenza Kubheka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th match minute, Blaton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mpenza Kekana to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Blaton FC's zone, Darren Bartlett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mpenza Kubheka came out of the goal and Darren Bartlett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicolas Koen scored 1-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mpenza Kubheka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Walker Knights's Darren Bartlett slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mpenza Kubheka. That made the score 2-0 after 34 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delron Cassim during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Walker Knights booed when Blaton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delron Cassim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mpenza Kubheka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darren Bartlett in the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wycliffe Serage was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Nicolas Koen made a precise shot to the right of Mpenza Kubheka. Blaton FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Blaton FC's zone, Darren Bartlett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mpenza Kubheka came out of the goal and Darren Bartlett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Nicolas Koen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Walker Knights's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Koen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mpenza Kubheka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th minute, Darren Bartlett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Walker Knights's goalkeeper Jomo Mathibe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mabusela Mbule. When Blaton FC's Wycliffe Serage in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jomo Mathibe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wycliffe Serage in the 90th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Wycliffe Serage got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wycliffe Serage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walker Knights were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Blaton FC for a fine match.
