Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lindo Strauss got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Mawetu Bandura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Godfrey Mabalane stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albert Thokozani's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Lindo Stoltz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Mhlongo in the 7th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oliver Serage in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Godfrey Mabalane saved FC YamYam from getting behind. Lindo Stoltz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aubrey Webb in the 11th minute of play. FC Kapilaan's Albert Thokozani was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 12th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A collision led to FC Kapilaan getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Oliver Serage hit a great ball. When Mawetu Bandura came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the FC Kapilaan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mawetu Bandura couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Albert Thokozani managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kapilaan's supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Thokozani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godfrey Mabalane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 22 minutes, Mawetu Bandura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kapilaan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mawetu Bandura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Albert Thokozani might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Godfrey Mabalane. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albert Thokozani ran back to his position shaking his head. Godfrey Mabalane didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 25th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. 30 minutes into the game, Lindo Strauss lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Godfrey Mabalane. After a defensive mix-up in FC YamYam's zone, Mawetu Bandura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godfrey Mabalane came out of the goal and Mawetu Bandura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oliver Serage received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Godfrey Mabalane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mawetu Bandura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute Oliver Serage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfrey Mabalane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lindo Strauss did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Godfrey Mabalane 45 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aubrey Webb stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Mawetu Bandura came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the FC Kapilaan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mawetu Bandura couldn't finish the play. Godfrey Mabalane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Thokozani, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After 56 minutes, Jonas Nhlapo made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC YamYam's Godfrey Mabalane tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lindo Strauss in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Godfrey Mabalane prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59th minute, Jeff Mncube hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albert Thokozani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Godfrey Mabalane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rdth minute of the game Lindo Strauss who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC YamYam's Godfrey Mabalane was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Oliver Serage cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Godfrey Mabalane was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mawetu Bandura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mawetu Bandura took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Godfrey Mabalane. Godfrey Mabalane dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Godfrey Mabalane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mawetu Bandura in the 78th minute of the match. In the 78th match minute, FC YamYam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Solly Machete to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mawetu Bandura in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Godfrey Mabalane saved FC YamYam from getting behind. Jonas Nhlapo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Godfrey Mabalane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC YamYam's Godfrey Mabalane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mawetu Bandura in the 90th minute of play. Timothy Radebe struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Godfrey Mabalane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Kapilaan. Aubrey Webb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Lindo Stoltz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Kapilaan's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
