Spectators: 6943 (Terracing: 5001, Seating: 1941, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ismail Okpara kicked off to start the match. In the 5thth minute of the game Ismail Okpara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blaton FC's Mpenza Kubheka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ismail Okpara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the game, Umzumbe's Ismail Okpara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mpenza Kubheka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Wycliffe Serage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismail Okpara charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ismail Okpara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Umzumbe's Ismail Okpara got a free kick in the 17th minute. Tebogo Mhlathe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mpenza Kubheka having to interfere. Tebogo Mhlathe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mpenza Kekana kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Umzumbe's Mathibela Ngake got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute, Wycliffe Serage got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Mpenza Kekana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute Ismail Okpara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mpenza Kubheka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Blaton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ismail Okpara came free, but Mpenza Kubheka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismail Okpara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mpenza Kubheka having to interfere. Mpenza Kekana kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wycliffe Serage to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tebogo Mhlathe got free with Mpenza Kubheka in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st minute, Meshack Fortuin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mabusela Mbule might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Norman Qabi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mabusela Mbule ran back to his position shaking his head. Tebogo Mhlathe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mpenza Kubheka having to interfere. Umzumbe's Boyisani Sephadi got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Blaton FC's zone, Tebogo Mhlathe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mpenza Kubheka came out of the goal and Tebogo Mhlathe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mpenza Kekana kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. A collision led to Umzumbe getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Tebogo Mhlathe hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tebogo Mhlathe got free with Mpenza Kubheka in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Blaton FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Umzumbe were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
