Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Brandon Madima started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 2 played minutes PICOLO got a freekick which was hit by Cornell Inguana. In the 3rd minute, Kingston Qabi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and PICOLO's Jason Thompson didn't even have to move. PICOLO's Jason Thompson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save PICOLO from getting a goal against them. PICOLO's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Brandon Madima 10 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Brandon Madima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jason Thompson having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, PICOLO's goal looked a bit too open when Brandon Madima came free, but Jason Thompson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Charles Mhlathe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Brandon Madima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brandon Madima in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jason Thompson saved PICOLO from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Altoona's Basil Etafia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jason Thompson. That made the score 2-1 after 28 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, PICOLO's Solly Magakula got a free kick in the 36th minute. Altoona's Brandon Madima got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, PICOLO's goal looked a bit too open when Brandon Madima came free, but Jason Thompson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Basil Etafia came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Altoona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basil Etafia couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The wind increased when Yacoob Klein made the kick off in the second half. Brandon Madima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. PICOLO's Jason Thompson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basil Etafia in the 55th minute of play. If Brandon Madima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jason Thompson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brandon Madima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Solly Magakula charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Solly Magakula the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. PICOLO's Jason Thompson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basil Etafia in the 68th minute of play. The Altoona fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Altoona's Brandon Madima looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Basil Konza got free with Lindo Josephs in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Altoona's Lindo Josephs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Altoona from getting a goal against them. Brandon Madima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Basil Etafia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 96 played minutes PICOLO got a freekick which was hit by Solly Magakula. Altoona's Kingston Qabi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 96th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for PICOLO. Altoona walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
