After 6 played minutes Ajax Amsterdam got a freekick which was hit by Melusi Mokhasi. Jonas Nhlapo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Henry Modipa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute Melusi Mokhasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lindo Stoltz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henry Modipa had great luck who in the 11thth minute grab hold of the ball when Albert Thokozani from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Ajax Amsterdam's Henry Modipa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Ajax Amsterdam from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albert Thokozani in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henry Modipa saved Ajax Amsterdam from getting behind. Ismail Strausss short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Henry Modipa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ajax Amsterdam's Melusi Mokhasi got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Lindo Strauss got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lindo Strauss in the 29th minute of play forced Ajax Amsterdam's goalkeeper Henry Modipa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ajax Amsterdam's zone, Lindo Strauss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Modipa came out of the goal and Lindo Strauss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 33 minutes, Ismail Strauss mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Kapilaan and the Ajax Amsterdam players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lindo Stoltz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jafta Nauseb, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Ismail Strauss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henry Modipa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismail Strauss in the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Timothy Radebe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Ajax Amsterdam's Allan Mhlongo tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jafta Nauseb in the 44th minute of play forced FC Kapilaan's goalkeeper Lindo Stoltz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ismail Strauss was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 45 minutes had been played. In the 46th minute, Ismail Strauss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute Jafta Nauseb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lindo Stoltz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albert Thokozani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Henry Modipa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Serage in the 53rd minute of the match. FC Kapilaan's Lindo Stoltz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shaheed Qabi in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Bradley Tau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ajax Amsterdam's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Kapilaan the free kick. The supporters of FC Kapilaan booed when Ajax Amsterdam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradley Tau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albert Thokozani scored 2-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henry Modipa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st minute, Albert Thokozani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Kapilaan fully deserved thier win.
