The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Walker Knights's zone, Ismail Strauss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jomo Mathibe came out of the goal and Ismail Strauss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th minute, Albert Thokozani reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jomo Mathibe. The goal made the score 1-0. If Lindo Strauss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ismail Strauss in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jomo Mathibe saved Walker Knights from getting behind. Albert Thokozani took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jomo Mathibe. Jomo Mathibe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Lindo Stoltz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sizwe Mafuna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ismail Strauss in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jomo Mathibe saved Walker Knights from getting behind. Ismail Strauss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jomo Mathibe having to interfere. After 26 minutes, Bernard Sephadi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Walker Knights and the FC Kapilaan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Jomo Mathibe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lindo Strauss kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. With his leg Jomo Mathibe managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when FC Kapilaan's Albert Thokozani fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Francis Etafia kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Jomo Mathibe made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Jonas Nhlapo sent off a good shot on target. If Oliver Serage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lindo Stoltz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darren Bartlett in the 39th minute of play. Lindo Strauss recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ismail Strauss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jomo Mathibe having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

FC Kapilaan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lindo Strauss in the 53rd minute. Akil Shoba tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Jomo Mathibe. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-0 in the 54th minute. Albert Thokozani struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Jomo Mathibe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Kapilaan. When Lindo Strauss came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the FC Kapilaan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lindo Strauss couldn't finish the play. Lindo Stoltz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darren Bartlett in the 61st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ismail Strauss's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jomo Mathibe was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Jomo Mathibe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Nhlapo, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Jonas Nhlapo notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Walker Knights's Jomo Mathibe. Jomo Mathibe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jomo Mathibe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lindo Strauss's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. The audience was convinced that Lindo Strauss's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jomo Mathibe was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lindo Strauss in the 85th minute of play forced Walker Knights's goalkeeper Jomo Mathibe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jomo Mathibe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismail Strauss, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the match, FC Kapilaan's Ismail Strauss sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jomo Mathibe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Timothy Radebe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Kapilaan fully deserved thier win.
