FC Kapilaan's Lindo Stoltz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Musa Modipa in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute of the match, Raymond Kubheka got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lindo Stoltz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mawetu Bandura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sipho Thompson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mawetu Bandura in the 18th minute of play. Sipho Thompson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mawetu Bandura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, FC Kapilaan's goalkeeper Lindo Stoltz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raymond Kubheka. Lindo Stoltz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Musa Modipa in the 22nd minute of play. In the 31st minute FC Kapilaan were awarded a corner. Lindo Strauss went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Oliver Serage almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC KuLombombo's Sipho Thompson did a great save. FC Kapilaan's Lindo Stoltz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Kapilaan from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute, Lindo Strauss made a precise shot to the right of Sipho Thompson. FC KuLombombo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 44 minutes into the match, FC KuLombombo's goal looked a bit too open when Lindo Strauss came free, but Sipho Thompson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, FC KuLombombo's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Thokozani came free, but Sipho Thompson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lindo Strauss to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Oliver Serage got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC KuLombombo's zone, Oliver Serage stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sipho Thompson came out of the goal and Oliver Serage tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sipho Thompson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Thokozani in the 58th minute of play. FC KuLombombo's Sipho Thompson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save FC KuLombombo from getting a goal against them. Jason Mahlangu's late challenge caught a FC KuLombombo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jason Mahlangu helped the player get up and apologised. Jason Mahlangu kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Sipho Thompson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lindo Strauss in the 66th minute. Tebogo Komani kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Musa Modipa in the 75th minute of play forced FC Kapilaan's goalkeeper Lindo Stoltz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Albert Thokozani notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FC KuLombombo's Sipho Thompson. Sipho Thompson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Albert Thokozani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lindo Strauss got free with Sipho Thompson in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 89 minutes, Albert Thokozani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kapilaan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albert Thokozani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, FC KuLombombo's goalkeeper Sipho Thompson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lindo Strauss. If Jonas Nhlapo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Jonas Nhlapo managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kapilaan's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Nhlapo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sipho Thompson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded FC Kapilaan left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC KuLombombo.
