The Kyiv fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The Kyiv fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Kyiv's Matthew Leach looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Matthew Leach could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Matviy Grebenyuk made a huge save. After 16 played minutes Sambir GYE got a freekick which was hit by Demjan Migashko. After 18 played minutes, Kyiv's Demjan Pichkur shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Matviy Grebenyuk came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kyiv reached it. After 19 minutes, Borys Akymenko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sambir GYE and the Kyiv players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Sambir GYE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Borys Akymenko to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Sambir GYE's Matviy Grebenyuk got control of the ball when Matthew Leach tried to sneak it across the goal line. Borys Akymenko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matthew Leach could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Matviy Grebenyuk made a huge save. Matthew Leach succeeded in the game's 26th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matthew Leach got free with Matviy Grebenyuk in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Matviy Grebenyuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valeriy Derypapa, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Matviy Grebenyuk made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Matthew Leach sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the game, Kyiv's Viktor Mazepa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matviy Grebenyuk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Matthew Leach could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Matviy Grebenyuk made a huge save. Matviy Grebenyuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuriy Starostyak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matthew Leach's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Matviy Grebenyuk firmly grabbed it by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maxym Husin to strike the kick off in the second half. Viktor Mazepa struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Matviy Grebenyuk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kyiv. 53 minutes into the match, Yuriy Starostyak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matviy Grebenyuk. Sambir GYE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yuriy Starostyak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 58th minute Viktor Mazepa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matviy Grebenyuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kyiv's zone, Stepan Sernetskyi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siro Nastasio came out of the goal and Stepan Sernetskyi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Panas Garaptsyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute Matthew Leach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matviy Grebenyuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matviy Grebenyuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Demjan Protsyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Viktor Mazepa made a precise shot to the right of Matviy Grebenyuk. Sambir GYE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. In the 70th minute, Yuriy Starostyak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute Matthew Leach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matviy Grebenyuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Borys Akymenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matviy Grebenyuk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthew Leach in the 82nd minute of the match. Sambir GYE's Matviy Grebenyuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuriy Starostyak in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Sambir GYE's Panas Garaptsyo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Siro Nastasio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Demjan Protsyk in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matviy Grebenyuk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matviy Grebenyuk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthew Leach in the 92nd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Sambir GYE's goal looked a bit too open when Matthew Leach came free, but Matviy Grebenyuk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matthew Leach took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matviy Grebenyuk. Matviy Grebenyuk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Kyiv's Gennadiy Solovonyuk was substituted for Valeriy Derypapa. When the referee ended the match the Kyiv players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
