The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Duncan Hatfield struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Slavyan Stanulov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nychyporivka Ψ. Duncan Hatfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Slavyan Stanulov having to interfere. Nychyporivka Ψ's Duncan Hatfield got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Slavyan Stanulov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thad Castle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FK LVIV booed when Nychyporivka Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukas Smed didn't get a good kick on the ball. Slavyan Stanulov was a little too slow when Thad Castle got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-0. After having played for 26 minutes, Vasyl Olischuk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK LVIV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vasyl Olischuk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thad Castle in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Slavyan Stanulov saved FK LVIV from getting behind. Nychyporivka Ψ's Sten Vedholm shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 34th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Slavyan Stanulov but with some difficulty. Lukas Smed hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Pokladok in the 38th minute of play forced Nychyporivka Ψ's goalkeeper Dan Junilă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thad Castle made a kick off. Duncan Hatfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Thad Castle sped through FK LVIV's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Slavyan Stanulov. When Anton Samborskyi fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FK LVIV's protests and gave Anton Samborskyi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th match minute, FK LVIV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Samborskyi to maneuver through the defense. Artem Rusol came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dan Junilă could save by the left post. With an all-out effort, FK LVIV's Dan Junilă threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roman Pokladok, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 94 minutes into the game, Duncan Hatfield cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Slavyan Stanulov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nychyporivka Ψ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
