Marin Nae made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Gigel Macovescu sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sorin Ivănescu during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Vajla getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Sorin Ivănescu hit a great ball. Gigel Macovescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marin Nae having to interfere. In the 17th minute of the match, Virgil Necula tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marin Nae saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 18th minute, Virgil Necula fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Daniel Alupoaie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vajla's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Alupoaie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Avacariței breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Virgil Necula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marin Nae having to interfere. In the 29th match minute, Tufenii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radu Buzilă to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Tufenii's zone, Petrică Buricea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Avacariței came out of the goal and Petrică Buricea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Gigel Macovescu could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Marin Nae however easily saved by the left post. Gigel Macovescu came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marin Nae could save by the left post. In the 44th minute Virgil Necula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marin Nae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Petrică Buricea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emanuel Avacariței made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petrică Buricea in the 52nd minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Vajla's goal looked a bit too open when Gigel Macovescu came free, but Marin Nae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Irinel Ciorbea kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vajla's zone, Virgil Necula stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marin Nae came out of the goal and Virgil Necula tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gigel Macovescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Marin Nae tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Tufenii booed when Vajla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergiu Buteanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentin Miclea was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 73 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the game, one of Vajla:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 75th minute, Luca Mischie made a precise shot to the right of Marin Nae. Vajla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Marin Nae didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Virgil Necula went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 85th match minute, Tufenii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horea Nedelciu to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Tufenii booed when Vajla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irinel Ciorbea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vajla's Marin Nae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigel Macovescu in the 95th minute of play. Petrică Buricea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Avacariței having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgil Necula in the 100th minute of play forced Vajla's goalkeeper Marin Nae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tufenii's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
