Costel Grozuță helped the player get up and apologised. Costel Grozuță kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Marcelo Salomon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Martin Stoleru. The goal made the score 1-1. Ghiris CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. With 40 minutes on the clock, Hjalmar Dalgren commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of VLK Bucharest booed when Ghiris CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. After having played for 53 minutes, Doru Vârșan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VLK Bucharest's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doru Vârșan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Denis Ichim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martin Stoleru. Ghiris CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Denis Ichim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Ghiris CF's Costel Grozuță managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alin Semeghin in the 66 minute of the game. In the 72nd minute Denis Ichim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Stoleru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Călin Ilieș left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VLK Bucharest fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Ghiris CF's Gică Mincă managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Călin Ilieș in the 79 minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Salomon during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcelo Salomon hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. VLK Bucharest's Dorin Obreja proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save VLK Bucharest from getting a goal against them. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ghiris CF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for VLK Bucharest.
