Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 148) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ferdinand Pantelimon started the match with the kick off. 12 minutes into the match, Vaile UFC's goalkeeper Romeo Nicorici had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferdinand Pantelimon. After 13 minutes Vaile UFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ion Macovescu who took care of the corner kick. After having played for 16 minutes, Ciprian Elisei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bekas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciprian Elisei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Vaile UFC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Grigore Țepeluș hit a great ball. Bekas's Ionuț Vârjean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gelu Lalescu in the 25th minute of play. After 26 minutes Bekas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gelu Lalescu who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Gelu Lalescu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ionuț Vârjean quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferdinand Pantelimon got free with Romeo Nicorici in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Vaile UFC's Romeo Nicorici got control of the ball when Ion Macovescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Iulian Zăvoianu made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Bekas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciprian Elisei to maneuver through the defense. Romeo Nicorici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Stănilă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudiu Velicu charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudiu Velicu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 59 minutes into the game, one of Bekas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bekas:s Ionuț Vârjean showed great skill when he stopped Gelu Lalescu:s penalty. Claudiu Velicu hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Vaile UFC's Iulian Zăvoianu got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Ionuț Vârjean successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ionuț Vârjean didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 87th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bekas fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vaile UFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
