Szczepan Galagan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A beautiful save bye Sporting Crangasi's goalie prevented a goal. Basarab Elian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iordache Vochin in the 12th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Yuri Mendonça left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cotofenii FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Szczepan Galagan came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cotofenii FC's Grigore Cârnu. But to his dismay, Grigore Cârnu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amadeo Arnau in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Szczepan Galagan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute, Sporting Crangasi's Marcel Gafița ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Basarab Elian. Basarab Elian yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Mihnea Ştefulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Mendonça in the 40th minute of play forced Sporting Crangasi's goalkeeper Szczepan Galagan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Cotofenii FC were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iordache Vochin to strike the kick off in the second half. If Amadeo Arnau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sporting Crangasi's Szczepan Galagan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Mendonça in the 56th minute of play. Szczepan Galagan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Mendonça in the 61st minute of the match. Amadeo Arnau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Szczepan Galagan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amadeo Arnau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Szczepan Galagan having to interfere. If Grigore Cârnu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Amadeo Arnau came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Cotofenii FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeo Arnau couldn't finish the play. Szczepan Galagan made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Yuri Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. In the 74thth minute of the game Yuri Mendonça who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Crangasi's Szczepan Galagan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 76th minute, Cotofenii FC's Amadeo Arnau ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Szczepan Galagan. Szczepan Galagan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. In the 79th minute, Amadeo Arnau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st match minute, Sporting Crangasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Albescu to maneuver through the defense. If Amadeo Arnau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mihnea Ştefulescu charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mihnea Ştefulescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cotofenii FC played a much better game than Sporting Crangasi and deserved their victory. The Sporting Crangasi players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
