After having played for 7 minutes, Gabriel Costea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Empire Club Recea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Costea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th minute, JUVENTUS TIMISOARA's Aron Hanganu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The supporters of JUVENTUS TIMISOARA booed when Empire Club Recea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudiu Gorjanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gigi Şahin was extremely unlucky when he, in the 17th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 20 minutes into the game, Aron Hanganu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of David Ghionaru. Aron Hanganu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Florin Vlăsiu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, David Ghionaru skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nechifor Moți took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurel Luican, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Gabriel Costea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 40 minutes of play, JUVENTUS TIMISOARA's Florin Vlăsiu made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Ghionaru was left in no man's land by his defense there! 46 minutes into the match, Empire Club Recea's goalkeeper David Ghionaru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sergiu Brăescu. Empire Club Recea's David Ghionaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Hanganu in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Costea to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Aron Hanganu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Ghionaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Claudiu Gorjanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the game's 54th minute JUVENTUS TIMISOARA's Florin Vlăsiu took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of David Ghionaru and thus the score was 4-0. In the 61stth minute of the game Florin Vlăsiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Empire Club Recea's David Ghionaru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergiu Brăescu in the 62nd minute of play forced Empire Club Recea's goalkeeper David Ghionaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, JUVENTUS TIMISOARA's goalkeeper Nechifor Moți had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodor Badea. David Ghionaru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florin Vlăsiu went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. David Ghionaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigi Şahin in the 69th minute of play. When JUVENTUS TIMISOARA's Florin Vlăsiu in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Empire Club Recea's goalie prevented a goal. Aron Hanganu scored 6-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Ghionaru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 79 minutes into the match, Aron Hanganu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Ghionaru. Empire Club Recea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aron Hanganu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. JUVENTUS TIMISOARA made a substitution. Victor Doman replaced Aron Hanganu. In the 87th minute, Dorin Trăilă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the game, one of Empire Club Recea:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 95 played minutes Empire Club Recea got a freekick which was hit by Aurel Luican. The JUVENTUS TIMISOARA fans' excitement grew in the 97th match minute when JUVENTUS TIMISOARA's Florin Vlăsiu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. JUVENTUS TIMISOARA fully deserved thier win.
