In the 35th minute, Mihail Dacian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute, Nicolae Berceanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iulian Filip's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisc Luca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Nicolae Berceanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Francisc Luca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisc Luca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolae Berceanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Velea's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Toader came free, but Francisc Luca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Toader in the 46th minute of play forced Velea's goalkeeper Francisc Luca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felix Tarchilă to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Iulian Filip mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Valahia and the Velea players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st minute, Iulian Filip hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Irinel Ilie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Nicolae Berceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Iulian Filip managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Valahia's supporters rose to their feet, but Iulian Filip was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisc Luca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 82 minutes, Irinel Ilie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Valahia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Irinel Ilie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Gavril Panaitoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Valahia's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavril Panaitoiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gavril Panaitoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisc Luca having to interfere.
