The FC DELPI-CORVINUL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horea Goga should have stopped the shot. Teodor Jupân received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Horea Goga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donato Carafa in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iacob Ghimpu saved FC FLAVI from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Carafa in the 21st minute of play forced FC FLAVI's goalkeeper Iacob Ghimpu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC FLAVI's Mădălin Siteavu got a free kick in the 21st minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC FLAVI's zone, Sorin Alucusan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iacob Ghimpu came out of the goal and Sorin Alucusan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sorin Alucusan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 33 minutes, Sever Preda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC FLAVI and the FC DELPI-CORVINUL players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sever Preda kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sorin Alucusan to make the kick off. Iacob Ghimpu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sorin Alucusan, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 60th minute, Iustinian Costăchescu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Horea Goga. The goal made the score 0-2. The supporters of FC DELPI-CORVINUL booed when FC FLAVI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mădălin Siteavu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iacob Ghimpu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Stelian, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Iacob Ghimpu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sorin Alucusan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The FC DELPI-CORVINUL fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when FC DELPI-CORVINUL's Donato Carafa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Iustinian Costăchescu hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Donato Carafa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 94 minutes, Teodor Jupân managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC FLAVI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodor Jupân was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Although FC DELPI-CORVINUL had been in control for most of the match, FC FLAVI still came away with the win.
