Spectators: 6828 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pavel Bogatu got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Remus Iftimescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pavel Bogatu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Vintilă Turdeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, FC G.C.I. BM's goal looked a bit too open when Mihai Giurgiu came free, but Vintilă Turdeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC STEAUA's Ovidiu Bucur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wincent Kosiorek in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC STEAUA's Pavel Bogatu got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 21stth minute of the game Mihai Giurgiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC G.C.I. BM's Vintilă Turdeanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute Mihai Giurgiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vintilă Turdeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC STEAUA were furious when Narcis Brădean was red carded, 25 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of FC G.C.I. BM booed when FC STEAUA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narcis Brădean didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th match minute, FC G.C.I. BM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wincent Kosiorek to maneuver through the defense. FC STEAUA's Ovidiu Bucur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save FC STEAUA from getting a goal against them. When Wincent Kosiorek, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 33 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ovidiu Bucur was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Markus Frank got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute of the match, Wincent Kosiorek tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ovidiu Bucur saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.

The wind increased when Wincent Kosiorek made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Markus Frank managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC G.C.I. BM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Markus Frank was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Markus Frank received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ovidiu Bucur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narcis Grigoriu kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Ovidiu Bucur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wincent Kosiorek, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Markus Frank received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ovidiu Bucur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Frank in the 75th minute of play forced FC STEAUA's goalkeeper Ovidiu Bucur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Wincent Kosiorek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC G.C.I. BM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 82 minutes into the match, Markus Frank had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ovidiu Bucur. FC STEAUA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Markus Frank was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 87 minutes into the match, FC STEAUA's goal looked a bit too open when Wincent Kosiorek came free, but Ovidiu Bucur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denis Plops short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Vintilă Turdeanu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. FC STEAUA's Ovidiu Bucur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wincent Kosiorek in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the FC G.C.I. BM players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
