Spectators: 7423 (Terracing: 5575, Seating: 1700, VIP seats: 148) Dorin Cocârlă hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. The Geacas AFC fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Geacas AFC's Octav Ţugui looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Manole Trică sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Lucian Cămărășan made a precise shot to the right of Octavian Ispas. Maratei's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Kord Holthuis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manole Trică, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Maratei's Manole Trică got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octav Ţugui in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Octavian Ispas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lucian Cămărășan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Ispas having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Kord Holthuis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Octavian Ispas came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Geacas AFC's Pompiliu Robu. But to his dismay, Pompiliu Robu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 45 minutes into the match, Maratei's goal looked a bit too open when Lucian Cămărășan came free, but Octavian Ispas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Maratei players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Geacas AFC were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Octav Ţugui made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Mihnea Ciprian made a precise shot to the right of Kord Holthuis. Geacas AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Dinu Buhoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute Lucian Cămărășan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Ispas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dinu Buhoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Ispas having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Pompiliu Robu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Geacas AFC's goalkeeper Kord Holthuis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mihnea Ciprian took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kord Holthuis. Kord Holthuis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In a very dangerous position, a player in Maratei fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! Maratei:s Octavian Ispas showed great skill when he stopped Lucian Cămărășan:s penalty. Kord Holthuis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihnea Ciprian in the 82nd minute of play. Octavian Ispas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pompiliu Robu in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octav Ţugui in the 88th minute of play forced Maratei's goalkeeper Octavian Ispas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Maratei's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Ignea came free, but Octavian Ispas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucian Cămărășan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Ispas having to interfere. Geacas AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
