Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Nocrich's Florin Burdujan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ionică Ilieș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tudor Curtean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th match minute, Nocrich was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radu Macavei to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute Tudor Curtean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionică Ilieș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cezar Moți showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Burdujan, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Chibulcut's Tudor Curtean got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 34 minutes, Horaţiu Tomulescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chibulcut and the Nocrich players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 34 played minutes Chibulcut got a freekick which was hit by Horaţiu Tomulescu. Cezar Moți acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 35th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cristinel Racoviceanu. After 35 minutes, Lucrețiu Luican mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chibulcut and the Nocrich players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Chibulcut getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Lucrețiu Luican hit a great ball. In the 40th minute Iosif Cângea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionică Ilieș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Nocrich's goal looked a bit too open when Tudor Curtean came free, but Ionică Ilieș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tudor Curtean stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Florin Burdujan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chibulcut's Cezar Moți was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Nocrich booed when Chibulcut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Molodețiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 52 minutes into the match, Chibulcut's goal looked a bit too open when Niculae Babarada came free, but Cezar Moți reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Horaţiu Tomulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horaţiu Tomulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ionică Ilieș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Florin Burdujan came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Nocrich fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florin Burdujan couldn't finish the play. Cezar Moți made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niculae Babarada in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Niculae Babarada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st match minute, Nocrich was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihăiţă Brumă to maneuver through the defense. Lucrețiu Luican sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tudor Curtean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Niculae Babarada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Cezar Moți tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Chibulcut could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nocrich throughout the match.
