Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Petre Simionică got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Petre Simionică shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vintilă Druga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Veceru CSM booed when Nicula SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toader Dudea didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nicula SC's zone, Iosif Acatincăi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Goga came out of the goal and Iosif Acatincăi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 8 minutes of play, Veceru CSM's Iosif Acatincăi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Goga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Veceru CSM's Vintilă Druga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petre Simionică in the 20th minute of play. Eduard Buciu kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Vintilă Druga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isac Oltean in the 22nd minute. Cazimir Curta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Goga having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cazimir Curta in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Goga saved Nicula SC from getting behind. Isac Oltean might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vintilă Druga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isac Oltean ran back to his position shaking his head. If Petre Simionică had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Nicula SC's goal looked a bit too open when Iosif Acatincăi came free, but Manuel Goga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Șerban Chifan's late challenge caught a Veceru CSM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Șerban Chifan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, Șerban Chifan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toader Dudea was shown his second yellow card after 38 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Nicula SC's Toader Dudea got a free kick in the 39th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Veceru CSM's Șerban Taşcă broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Isac Oltean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Veceru CSM's Vintilă Druga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Veceru CSM from getting a goal against them. After 47 played minutes Veceru CSM got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Buciu. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iosif Acatincăi to strike the kick off in the second half. Veceru CSM were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Nicula SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Șerban Taşcă took the corner. The corner ended in Șerban Taşcă almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nicula SC's Manuel Goga did a great save. Veceru CSM's Vintilă Druga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isac Oltean in the 59th minute of play. Isac Oltean's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vintilă Druga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Veceru CSM's goal looked a bit too open when Isac Oltean came free, but Vintilă Druga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67thth minute of the game Isac Oltean who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Veceru CSM's Vintilă Druga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nicula SC's Manuel Goga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iosif Acatincăi in the 68th minute of play. Cazimir Curta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vintilă Druga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isac Oltean in the 71st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iosif Acatincăi in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Goga saved Nicula SC from getting behind. A collision led to Nicula SC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Petre Simionică hit a great ball. Manuel Goga made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Cazimir Curta sent off a good shot on target. Vintilă Druga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isac Oltean in the 91st minute of the match. Vintilă Druga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isac Oltean, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isac Oltean in the 95th minute of play forced Veceru CSM's goalkeeper Vintilă Druga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
