Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Anton Grozăvescu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A collision led to Ghidialau getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Emanuel Mălin hit a great ball. After 10 played minutes Rapid F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Mircea Chițu. Aristide Pandele's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, George Iordan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. George Iordan was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Emanuel Mălin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emanuel Mălin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 19th match minute, Ghidialau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Mălin to maneuver through the defense. If Aristide Pandele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aristide Pandele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Iordan having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Rapid F.C.'s Mircea Chițu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Codruț Bosânceanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Anton Grozăvescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Codruț Bosânceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nistor Dragotescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horea Moșanu in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg George Iordan saved Rapid F.C. from getting behind.
After 52 minutes, Ernest Spânu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rapid F.C. and the Ghidialau players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rapid F.C. getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ernest Spânu hit a great ball. After taking down the ball on Ghidialau's corner Edgar Andone fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and George Iordan quite easily take care of the ball. Aristide Pandele received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. George Iordan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Rapid F.C. booed when Ghidialau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iacob Iorgovan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anton Grozăvescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Codruț Bosânceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Codruț Bosânceanu came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Rapid F.C.'s Anton Grozăvescu. But to his dismay, Anton Grozăvescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Horea Moșanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without George Iordan having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Rapid F.C.'s Costin Meleșcanu got a free kick in the 85th minute. 92 minutes into the game, Aristide Pandele cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. George Iordan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ghidialau were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Rapid F.C. for a fine match.
