Teddy Loisy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Octav Basarabescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute Iustinian Cosoroabă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octav Basarabescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bercioaia's Octav Basarabescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Iraunkor in the 36th minute of play. Octav Basarabescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teddy Loisy, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilfredo Iraunkor in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octav Basarabescu saved Bercioaia from getting behind. Octav Basarabescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilfredo Iraunkor went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The Bercioaia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Galatasaray were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silviu Magherescu was the one to do the kick off. Tobias Bengtsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octav Basarabescu having to interfere. Gigi Ignea charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gigi Ignea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilfredo Iraunkor got free with Octav Basarabescu in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Galatasaray fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Galatasaray's Tobias Bengtsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Octav Basarabescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teddy Loisy went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Wilfredo Iraunkors short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Octav Basarabescu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 82 minutes into the game, Galatasaray's Wilfredo Iraunkor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octav Basarabescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. A collision led to Galatasaray getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Tiberiu Encica hit a great ball. The supporters of Bercioaia booed when Galatasaray was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Iraunkor didn't get a good kick on the ball.
