After a rather tough play, Club13's Tiberiu Zberea got a free kick in the 15th minute. With a little luck, Vitanestii CSS's Adrian Siniştean got control of the ball when Gică Copil tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th minute Tiberiu Zberea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Siniştean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Siniştean made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Gică Copil sent off a good shot on target. If Tiberiu Zberea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Lucrețiu Găvan made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Zberea in the 53rd minute of play forced Vitanestii CSS's goalkeeper Adrian Siniştean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Tiberiu Zberea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrian Siniştean was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Vitanestii CSS's Lucrețiu Găvan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Claudiu Mutu. That made the score 1-1 after 61 minutes of play. Vitanestii CSS's Adrian Siniştean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Zberea in the 65th minute of play. Mihăiţă Corbeanu kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. When Lucrețiu Găvan came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Vitanestii CSS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucrețiu Găvan couldn't finish the play. After 77 minutes, Codrin Homescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club13 and the Vitanestii CSS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th minute, Codrin Homescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Gică Copil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrian Siniştean was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 86th minute Lucrețiu Găvan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudiu Mutu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 90 in the game by Iurie Fărcășan from a close distance when the talented Claudiu Mutu managed to make a qualified save. Club13's players were relieved. In the 97th minute Gică Copil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Siniştean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club13 had won after a very even match.
