An unexpectedly hard shot by Ion Dăianu in the 14th minute of play forced Suseni FC's goalkeeper Șerban Moscu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Petruț Caciulescu made a precise shot to the right of Ivan Condeescu. Mag's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Suseni FC's Șerban Moscu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ion Dăianu in the 32nd minute of play. If Moise Vătavu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Mag's Leonard Marin got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Flavius Baciu hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Suseni FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
