Spectators: 6697 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emil Târcă started the match with the kick off. Iulian Inculeț fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stelian Coraș having to interfere. Emil Târcă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Iustinian Bungescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paraipani AC's Sandu Achimescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustinian Bungescu in the 14th minute of play. When Emil Târcă came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Demetertana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil Târcă couldn't finish the play. Sandu Achimescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Târcă in the 17th minute of play. Sandu Achimescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Târcă in the 20th minute of the match. Felix Dăscălescu kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Ciprian Mercescu hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 28 played minutes, Demetertana's Vali Culiță shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sandu Achimescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Demetertana reached it. In the 31st minute of the match Demetertana got a corner. Paraipani AC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vali Culiță ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Demetertana's corner Petrică Boacă fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sandu Achimescu quite easily take care of the ball. When Nichifor Enceanu fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Demetertana's protests and gave Nichifor Enceanu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Demetertana getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Nichifor Enceanu hit a great ball. The long shot by Ciprian Mercescu in the 41st minute really tested Stelian Coraș's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 42nd match minute, Demetertana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Istodor to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sergiu Turbatu to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Paraipani AC's Felix Dăscălescu got a free kick in the 56th minute. The audience was convinced that Emil Târcă's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sandu Achimescu was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. 65 minutes into the game, Demetertana's Iustinian Bungescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sandu Achimescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Iulian Inculeț fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stelian Coraș having to interfere. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Demetertana's goalkeeper Stelian Coraș, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stelian Coraș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iulian Inculeț, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Iustinian Bungescu sped through Paraipani AC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sandu Achimescu. A collision led to Demetertana getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Eric Istodor hit a great ball. Iustinian Bungescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Sandu Achimescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emil Târcă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandu Achimescu having to interfere. After 90 played minutes Demetertana got a freekick which was hit by Emil Târcă. Iustinian Bungescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stelian Coraș didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sergiu Turbatu went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Demetertana walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
