Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Alex Biriș took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernest Hâjdău. Ernest Hâjdău dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Teleagă in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernest Hâjdău prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute Iosif Mocanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codruț Panaiteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caluiul's Codruț Panaiteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Bogza in the 12th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Costin Gârdan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Teleagă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pavel Trifan to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavel Trifan in the 55th minute of play forced Caluiul's goalkeeper Codruț Panaiteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Vladeni's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Teleagă came free, but Ernest Hâjdău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernest Hâjdău showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Teleagă in the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Vladeni's Iosif Mocanu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Codruț Panaiteanu. Codruț Panaiteanu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Ernest Hâjdău showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Teleagă, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 85 minutes of play, Vladeni's Iosif Mocanu made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Codruț Panaiteanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ernest Hâjdău made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Biriș in the 88th minute of play. Alex Biriș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Hâjdău having to interfere. The supporters of Caluiul booed when Vladeni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Bogza didn't get a good kick on the ball.
