Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gabi Balint took the kick off in the first half of the match. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Codrin Văcaru put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Victor Berceanu. In the 15th minute, Nechifor Groșan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Toader Colceriu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Becea CSS booed when Steaua București was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilie Adrian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mihăiţă Neața didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toader Colceriu went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Codrin Văcaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Berceanu having to interfere. Victor Berceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabi Balint in the 39th minute of the match. Valeriu Urderean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabi Balint recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Gabi Balint who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Becea CSS's Victor Berceanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luca Ailincai during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luca Ailincai kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. When Codrin Văcaru came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Steaua București fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Codrin Văcaru couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Steaua București's Gabi Balint slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Victor Berceanu. That made the score 1-2 after 61 minutes of play. When Steaua București's Gabi Balint in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Becea CSS's goalie prevented a goal. Gabi Balint received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Victor Berceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Codrin Văcaru sped through Becea CSS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Victor Berceanu. If Gabi Balint had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Becea CSS's Victor Berceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabi Balint in the 82nd minute of play. Vali Craia kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Codrin Văcaru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Berceanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Gabi Balint fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 95th minute, Gabi Balint got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Steaua București could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Becea CSS throughout the match.
