After having played for 3 minutes, Primitivo Gora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GLADIATORII's supporters crossed their fingers, but Primitivo Gora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. GLADIATORII's Albert Alexiu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Roit. Grant Hobbs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mugur Ispirescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roit's Isac Leu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Roit from getting a goal against them. When Eric Răuțu came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the GLADIATORII fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Răuțu couldn't finish the play. Sever Stan's late challenge caught a Roit's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sever Stan helped the player get up and apologised. 19 minutes into the game, one of GLADIATORII:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Roit a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ştefan Panaitoiu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of GLADIATORII's Grant Hobbs. 0-1. After 25th play minutes Primitivo Gora shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Isac Leu and just under the crossbar into goal. Grant Hobbs stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vali Păvăloae's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After having played for 32 minutes, Primitivo Gora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. With a left leg Isac Leu saved Roit from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Primitivo Gora was the one to do the kick off. Eric Răuțu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Primitivo Gora in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isac Leu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 56 minutes, Primitivo Gora made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Roit's Isac Leu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexandru Vasilache kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugur Ispirescu in the 76th minute of play forced GLADIATORII's goalkeeper Grant Hobbs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eric Răuțu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Roit's goalkeeper Isac Leu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eric Răuțu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. GLADIATORII's attack was well implemented in the 91st minute, but when Primitivo Gora was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick.
