Spectators: 7533 (Terracing: 5651, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emil Alexiu started the match with the kick off. The attack was good, but when Octavian Alexandroae in the 5th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 6th minute, Stelian Bădulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16 minutes, Gigi Pordea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dobarceni and the Papa players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 16 played minutes Dobarceni got a freekick which was hit by Gigi Pordea. Remus Isăilă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Alexiu in the 29th minute of play forced Papa's goalkeeper Petru Alb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Emil Alexiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dobarceni's supporters rose to their feet, but Emil Alexiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petru Alb breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Dobarceni fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Dobarceni's Remus Isăilă looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Emil Alexiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Petru Alb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stelian Bădulescu during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 40 played minutes Dobarceni got a freekick which was hit by Stelian Bădulescu. Filip Butuc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Teodor Șeitan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Stelian Bădulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Dobarceni getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Niculae Encuțescu hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Filip Butuc got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Octavian Alexandroae to make the kick off. Remus Isăilă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petru Alb having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, Ionuț Moarcăș got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Remus Isăilă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Petru Alb made a huge save. Teodor Șeitan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavian Alexandroae in the 56th minute of play. Remus Isăilă struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Petru Alb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dobarceni. Remus Isăilă might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petru Alb. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Remus Isăilă ran back to his position shaking his head. Costică Zub blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petru Alb having to make a save. In the 69thth minute of the game Filip Butuc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dobarceni's Teodor Șeitan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teodor Șeitan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavian Alexandroae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dobarceni's Remus Isăilă got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Emil Alexiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Remus Isăilă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remus Isăilă who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Petru Alb when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match was over Dobarceni could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Papa throughout the match.
