In the 6th match minute, Gods Of The Arena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gigel Apăvăloaie to maneuver through the defense. Corneliu Minulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantin Dincă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Constantin Dincă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gigel Apăvăloaie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the match, FC Dinamo's goal looked a bit too open when Gigel Apăvăloaie came free, but Cosmin Avram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gică Stolojan during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gică Stolojan kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, FC Dinamo's goal looked a bit too open when Narcis Comișel came free, but Cosmin Avram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Constantin Dincă managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Dinamo's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantin Dincă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Corneliu Minulescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Constantin Dincă struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Corneliu Minulescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Dinamo. Narcis Comișel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Gods Of The Arena booed when FC Dinamo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dumitru Mironov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Narcis Comișel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Cosmin Avram tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Ciprian Gugea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gigel Apăvăloaie to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the game, Sandu Ştefănică cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Corneliu Minulescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gigel Apăvăloaie in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cosmin Avram prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to FC Dinamo getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ciprian Gugea hit a great ball. Gods Of The Arena's Corneliu Minulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantin Dincă in the 66th minute of play. After 68 minutes, Sandu Ştefănică made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Gods Of The Arena's Corneliu Minulescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sandu Ştefănică received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Corneliu Minulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gods Of The Arena's Octavian Tăutu got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute Constantin Dincă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Minulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cosmin Avram made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Narcis Comișel sent off a good shot on target. Gods Of The Arena's Narcis Comișel got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gigel Apăvăloaie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Constantin Dincă's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Corneliu Minulescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Cosmin Avram didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Narcis Comișel went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
