Ionel Ozon kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Stelian Nicorici hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Dorin Balints short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Irinel Hăulică to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Talp's zone, Marian Muja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Irinel Hăulică came out of the goal and Marian Muja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iulian Costandin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Atanasiu in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Talp booed when Cermeiu AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Traian Bungeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Marian Muja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cermeiu AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marian Muja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Talp's Stelian Nicorici nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iulian Costandin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Iulian Costandin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ion Filipoiu in the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dorin Balint stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Luca Atanasiu notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Cermeiu AC's Iulian Costandin. Iulian Costandin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 54 minutes into the match, Cermeiu AC's goalkeeper Iulian Costandin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Costel Cojan. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dorin Balint couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute of the match, Stelian Nicorici tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Iulian Costandin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 70 played minutes Ion Filipoiu rounded Cermeiu AC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-4. Costel Cojan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Iulian Costandin made a huge save. After 75 played minutes Talp got a freekick which was hit by Stelian Nicorici. Iulian Costandin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ion Filipoiu in the 78th minute of the match. Iulian Costandin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costel Cojan, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Marian Muja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Irinel Hăulică tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Traian Bungeanu was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Iulian Costandin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stelian Nicorici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Costel Cojan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Iulian Costandin made a huge save.
