In the 6th match minute, SCORILO - CARPI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Proca to maneuver through the defense. During the 10th minute of the match Cristinel Proca completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cristinel Proca a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Iepuresti CF booed when SCORILO - CARPI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristinel Proca didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Oproiu in the 11th minute of play forced SCORILO - CARPI's goalkeeper Alexandru Manafu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to SCORILO - CARPI getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Petruț Șeimeanu hit a great ball. Remus Oproiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandru Manafu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Oproiu in the 25th minute of play forced SCORILO - CARPI's goalkeeper Alexandru Manafu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, SCORILO - CARPI's goal looked a bit too open when Remus Oproiu came free, but Alexandru Manafu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Remus Oproiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petruț Șeimeanu succeeded in the game's 46th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Petruț Șeimeanu to make the kick off. Remus Oproiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Alexandru Manafu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute Remus Oproiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandru Manafu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Remus Oproiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iepuresti CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Remus Oproiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandru Manafu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SCORILO - CARPI's Avram Jupâneanu pulled a muscle in his leg after 58 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 59th minute, Laurențiu Cezariu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remus Oproiu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexandru Manafu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Remus Oproiu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alexandru Manafu. That made the score 1-1 in the 81 minute of play. Remus Oproiu had several of the SCORILO - CARPI's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 85 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Alexandru Manafu as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a little luck, SCORILO - CARPI's Alexandru Manafu got control of the ball when Remus Oproiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Remus Oproiu took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Alexandru Manafu to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remus Oproiu in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandru Manafu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 96 minutes, Remus Oproiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iepuresti CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remus Oproiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Iepuresti CF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
