Spectators: 6722 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aurel Niță started the match with the kick off. Manuel Isăilă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iordache Cernescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iulian Sava kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Iordache Cernescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Isăilă having to make a save. Manuel Isăilă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Șerban Taşcu in the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Șerban Taşcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Isăilă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Șerban Taşcu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Isăilă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Nistor Pascaru hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Zsombolya AS's Manuel Isăilă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Șerban Taşcu in the 22nd minute of play. After 28 played minutes, Galesul's Sebastian Boroneanț shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Manuel Isăilă came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Galesul reached it. If Aurel Niță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Galesul's Emilian Muncelean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurel Niță in the 33rd minute of play. Manuel Isăilă came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Galesul's Iordache Cernescu. But to his dismay, Iordache Cernescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iordache Cernescu in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Isăilă saved Zsombolya AS from getting behind. Iordache Cernescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Șerban Taşcu to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Iordache Cernescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galesul's supporters rose to their feet, but Iordache Cernescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Isăilă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gabriel Vulturar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iordache Cernescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Isăilă having to make a save. Șerban Taşcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Manuel Isăilă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iordache Cernescu scored 0-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Isăilă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Șerban Taşcu came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Galesul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Șerban Taşcu couldn't finish the play. Galesul's Șerban Taşcu managed to work through Zsombolya AS's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Șerban Taşcu dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The supporters of Zsombolya AS booed when Galesul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Boroneanț didn't get a good kick on the ball. Galesul's Emilian Muncelean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Agudaru in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zsombolya AS's goalkeeper Manuel Isăilă, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Galesul's Emilian Muncelean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurel Niță in the 80th minute of play. Șerban Taşcu's late challenge caught a Zsombolya AS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Șerban Taşcu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Galesul getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Șerban Taşcu hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Zsombolya AS's goalkeeper Manuel Isăilă had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iordache Cernescu. If Șerban Taşcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Șerban Taşcu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Isăilă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play.
