Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ion Geoană got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelian Bădiliță in the 4th minute of play forced Ferestrau's goalkeeper Nicu Bocșa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Crusetu's goal looked a bit too open when Ion Geoană came free, but Ilie Gafița reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Nae Mendrea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The Ferestrau players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Crusetu were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stelian Bădiliță stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nicu Bocșa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nae Mendrea in the 52nd minute. When Stelian Bădiliță fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Crusetu's protests and gave Stelian Bădiliță a yellow card for diving instead. Romeo Şimonca's late challenge caught a Crusetu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romeo Şimonca helped the player get up and apologised. After 58 played minutes Ferestrau got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Şimonca. Nicu Bocșa made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Nae Mendrea sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute Daniel Brăiloiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilie Gafița saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicu Bocșa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Stelian Bădiliță showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 68 minute of play. With a little luck, Ferestrau's Nicu Bocșa got control of the ball when Ionuț Stanciu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Ferestrau's goalkeeper Nicu Bocșa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nae Mendrea. Daniel Brăiloiu charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 76 played minutes Crusetu got a freekick which was hit by Stelian Bădiliță. Nae Mendrea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Nicu Bocșa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Basarab Şuplăcan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petruț Ciutacu might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicu Bocșa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petruț Ciutacu ran back to his position shaking his head. 95 minutes into the match, Ferestrau's goal looked a bit too open when Stelian Bădiliță came free, but Nicu Bocșa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Crusetu left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ferestrau.
