Spectators: 7460 (Terracing: 5633, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pompiliu Maior took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SUPER OTELUL's zone, Martin Caloian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cătălin Crăcană came out of the goal and Martin Caloian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SUPER OTELUL's Cătălin Crăcană played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Caloian in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, SUPER OTELUL's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Caloian came free, but Cătălin Crăcană reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 minutes of play, SUPER OTELUL's Ferdinand Buzincu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nistor Beligan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nistor Beligan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pompiliu Maior, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After a rather tough play, CS Targoviste's Rareș Liciu got a free kick in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, CS Targoviste's goal looked a bit too open when Pompiliu Maior came free, but Nistor Beligan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodor Aursulesei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martin Caloian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Cătălin Crăcană tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ferdinand Buzincu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pompiliu Maior in the 45th minute of play forced CS Targoviste's goalkeeper Nistor Beligan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teodor Aursulesei made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Pompiliu Maior shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Beligan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nistor Beligan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pompiliu Maior, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Rareș Liciu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute, Martin Caloian made a precise shot to the right of Cătălin Crăcană. SUPER OTELUL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Cristian Nedelcea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nistor Beligan. CS Targoviste's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ferdinand Buzincu took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nistor Beligan. Nistor Beligan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pompiliu Maior in the 86th minute of play forced CS Targoviste's goalkeeper Nistor Beligan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nistor Beligan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pompiliu Maior, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of SUPER OTELUL booed when CS Targoviste was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelian Bârlă didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the CS Targoviste defense, Pompiliu Maior kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nistor Beligan. The CS Targoviste fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nistor Beligan should have stopped the shot. CS Targoviste's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
