Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tudor Stancu made the kick off and thus started the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Ionel Iorgu managed to get in a good position for a shot. SEVERIN's supporters rose to their feet, but Ionel Iorgu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horaţiu Vintilescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tudor Stancu struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Iurie Arapașu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Temisoara. A collision led to Temisoara getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. David Mălin hit a great ball. Horaţiu Vintilescu came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by SEVERIN's Octav Lupeanu. But to his dismay, Octav Lupeanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to Temisoara getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Iurie Vişoiu hit a great ball. In the 17th minute of the match Manuel Cotoi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Horaţiu Vintilescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the last second Iurie Arapașu throw himself and got hold of the ball when Tudor Stancu in the 19thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Horaţiu Vintilescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionel Iorgu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octav Lupeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Horaţiu Vintilescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ionel Iorgu was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, SEVERIN's goal looked a bit too open when Tudor Stancu came free, but Iurie Arapașu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Iulian Şunda fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SEVERIN's protests and gave Iulian Şunda a yellow card for diving instead. Iulian Şunda hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Temisoara's zone, Ionel Iorgu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horaţiu Vintilescu came out of the goal and Ionel Iorgu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th match minute, SEVERIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iulian Şunda to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the game, one of Temisoara:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Temisoara:s Horaţiu Vintilescu showed great skill when he stopped Manuel Cotoi:s penalty. After some careless play in the Temisoara defense, Manuel Cotoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horaţiu Vintilescu. The Temisoara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horaţiu Vintilescu should have stopped the shot. In the 74th match minute, SEVERIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Hritcu to maneuver through the defense. In the 77thth minute of the game Constantin Nicodim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SEVERIN's Iurie Arapașu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ionel Iorgu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Octav Lupeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The SEVERIN fans' excitement grew in the 99th match minute when SEVERIN's Octav Lupeanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match was over SEVERIN could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Temisoara throughout the match.
