Spectators: 7550 (Terracing: 5664, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emanuel Videanu kicked off to start the match. Covrigi CSS's Corneliu Măgură played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantin Rada in the 4th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC GLORIA BUZĂU's zone, Răzvan Grigore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cazimir Romaşcanu came out of the goal and Răzvan Grigore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gelu Bâlea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Cazimir Romaşcanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cazimir Romaşcanu came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Covrigi CSS's Răzvan Grigore. But to his dismay, Răzvan Grigore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Covrigi CSS's Emanuel Videanu in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC GLORIA BUZĂU's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to FC GLORIA BUZĂU getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Cătălin Madgearu hit a great ball. Corneliu Măgură showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Huștiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Videanu in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cazimir Romaşcanu saved FC GLORIA BUZĂU from getting behind. In the 23rd minute, Viorel Alexiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Emanuel Videanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Covrigi CSS's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Videanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cazimir Romaşcanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 30 minutes into the match, Romeo Cotuțiu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC GLORIA BUZĂU's Cazimir Romaşcanu. Cazimir Romaşcanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Răzvan Grigore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Covrigi CSS's supporters rose to their feet, but Răzvan Grigore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cazimir Romaşcanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Răzvan Grigore charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Răzvan Grigore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Răzvan Grigore kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Constantin Rada kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Corneliu Măgură. That made the score 1-2 in the 39 minute of play. Cazimir Romaşcanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Videanu in the 42nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Emanuel Videanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Covrigi CSS's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Videanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cazimir Romaşcanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Niculae Bușcu came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Covrigi CSS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niculae Bușcu couldn't finish the play. 48 minutes into the game, Viorel Alexiu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Cazimir Romaşcanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The FC GLORIA BUZĂU players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Covrigi CSS were winning 1-3.

After 58 played minutes Emanuel Videanu rounded FC GLORIA BUZĂU's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-5. Corneliu Măgură took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionel Gogea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, FC GLORIA BUZĂU's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Videanu came free, but Cazimir Romaşcanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Răzvan Grigore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 72 minutes into the game, Emanuel Videanu lined in a short shot 1-6 behind a frustrated Cazimir Romaşcanu. The supporters of Covrigi CSS booed when FC GLORIA BUZĂU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Ciorbea didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Emanuel Videanu came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Covrigi CSS fans jumped to their feet.
