Pompiliu Maior sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugen Chiuzbaian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pompiliu Maior in the 8th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the game, Pompiliu Maior recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eugen Chiuzbaian. Pompiliu Maior showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After having played for 14 minutes, Lucian Oanță managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SUPER OTELUL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucian Oanță was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eugen Chiuzbaian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pompiliu Maior, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BATALIONUL 20 -STEAUA-'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Pompiliu Maior 19 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. In the 27th match minute, BATALIONUL 20 -STEAUA- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcu Flamaropol to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in BATALIONUL 20 -STEAUA-'s zone, Pompiliu Maior stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugen Chiuzbaian came out of the goal and Pompiliu Maior tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pompiliu Maior fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugen Chiuzbaian having to interfere. Cătălin Crăcană made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigi Teodorescu in the 34th minute of play. Pompiliu Maior recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SUPER OTELUL's Ferdinand Buzincu got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pompiliu Maior made a kick off. Eugen Chiuzbaian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pompiliu Maior in the 56th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mădălin Muntian during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 58 played minutes BATALIONUL 20 -STEAUA- got a freekick which was hit by Mădălin Muntian. Lucian Oanță struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Eugen Chiuzbaian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SUPER OTELUL. After 63 minutes, Cristinel Nițisor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SUPER OTELUL and the BATALIONUL 20 -STEAUA- players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Cristinel Nițisor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of BATALIONUL 20 -STEAUA- booed when SUPER OTELUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristinel Nițisor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gigi Teodorescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Cătălin Crăcană tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferdinand Buzincu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugen Chiuzbaian having to interfere. The supporters of SUPER OTELUL booed when BATALIONUL 20 -STEAUA- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Traian Ştefănuţ didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcu Flamaropol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Cătălin Crăcană tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind BATALIONUL 20 -STEAUA-'s goalkeeper Eugen Chiuzbaian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The long shot by Dorin Aluchei in the 83rd minute really tested Cătălin Crăcană's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, SUPER OTELUL's Lucian Oanță got a free kick in the 84th minute. If Marcu Flamaropol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugen Chiuzbaian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Buzincu in the 96th minute of play. Eugen Chiuzbaian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pompiliu Maior's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SUPER OTELUL fully deserved thier win.
