Francisc Ilarie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viorel Alexiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 22 minutes Oreuou's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emanuel Videanu who took care of the corner kick. Corneliu Măgură was a little too slow when Panait Bocaneț got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-0. Francisc Ilarie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Cotuțiu in the 33rd minute of play. Francisc Ilarie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Alexiu in the 44th minute of the match. Emanuel Conta kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Romeo Cotuțiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
Emanuel Videanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisc Ilarie having to interfere. The supporters of Oreuou booed when Covrigi CSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horia Andrițoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valer Aliuta in the 58th minute of play forced Covrigi CSS's goalkeeper Corneliu Măgură to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Adrian Capșuneanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Corneliu Măgură was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 64th minute, Viorel Alexiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Emanuel Videanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Francisc Ilarie managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Covrigi CSS's Emanuel Videanu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Panait Bocaneț's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Corneliu Măgură read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Romeo Cotuțiu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Francisc Ilarie, 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Romeo Cotuțiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Covrigi CSS's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Cotuțiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisc Ilarie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francisc Ilarie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Videanu in the 78th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Covrigi CSS defense, Adrian Capșuneanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Corneliu Măgură. The Covrigi CSS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Corneliu Măgură should have stopped the shot. 87 minutes into the game, Radu Miclescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Covrigi CSS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oreuou the free kick. Radu Miclescu hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Covrigi CSS's Radu Miclescu got a free kick in the 88th minute. Francisc Ilarie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Videanu in the 91st minute of the match. If Viorel Alexiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laurențiu Hidiș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Covrigi CSS's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Oreuou had won, even though Covrigi CSS had held more of the ball.
