Nicu Abraham started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Hummel getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Emilian Simionaş hit a great ball. When FC GLORIA BUZĂU's Constantin Rada in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hummel's goalie prevented a goal. Hummel's Ciprian Zdrenghea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantin Rada in the 8th minute of play. When FC GLORIA BUZĂU's Pavel Huștiu in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hummel's goalie prevented a goal. Emilian Simionaş kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Constantin Rada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciprian Zdrenghea having to interfere. Emilian Simionaş got his second yellow card in the match during the 22nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Hummel's Emilian Simionaş got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After having played for 24 minutes, Cătălin Madgearu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC GLORIA BUZĂU's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cătălin Madgearu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Constantin Rada scored 1-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciprian Zdrenghea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ionel Gogea made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 31stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Ciprian Zdrenghea would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ionel Gogea got free with Ciprian Zdrenghea in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ciprian Zdrenghea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin Rada in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantin Rada in the 38th minute of play forced Hummel's goalkeeper Ciprian Zdrenghea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Ciprian Zdrenghea managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when FC GLORIA BUZĂU's Ionel Gogea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 45th minute, Vali Huidu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Constantin Rada to make the kick off. Ionel Gogea scored 3-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciprian Zdrenghea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd match minute, Hummel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihai Lozovan to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC GLORIA BUZĂU booed when Hummel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vali Huidu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciprian Zdrenghea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionel Gogea in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantin Rada in the 71st minute of play forced Hummel's goalkeeper Ciprian Zdrenghea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ionel Gogea got free in front of the goal in the 74th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ciprian Zdrenghea was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 76 minutes, Cătălin Milea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hummel and the FC GLORIA BUZĂU players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th minute, Cătălin Milea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cătălin Madgearu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Şerbănoiu's late challenge caught a FC GLORIA BUZĂU's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damian Şerbănoiu helped the player get up and apologised. When Ionel Gogea came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the FC GLORIA BUZĂU fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionel Gogea couldn't finish the play. Ciprian Zdrenghea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ionel Gogea's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the 94thth minute of the game Constantin Rada who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hummel's Ciprian Zdrenghea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC GLORIA BUZĂU's Ionel Gogea got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC GLORIA BUZĂU fully deserved thier win.
