Spectators: 7509 (Terracing: 5632, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mugur Ielciu got the match started through his kick off. A hard shot 5 in the game by Valer Feraru from a close distance when the talented Valer Spiridon managed to make a qualified save. FC SIRINHO's players were relieved. Valer Feraru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valer Spiridon had great luck who in the 29thth minute grab hold of the ball when Mugur Ielciu from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. FC SIRINHO's Valer Spiridon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugur Ielciu in the 34th minute of play. When Valer Feraru came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Poju fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valer Feraru couldn't finish the play. Grigore Lăcătuș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moise Novacovici in the 38th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonard Alupoaie to make the kick off. Grigore Lăcătuș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Alupoaie in the 52nd minute of play. If Mugur Ielciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidiu Bălțăteanu's late challenge caught a Poju's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ovidiu Bălțăteanu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC SIRINHO's Ovidiu Bălțăteanu got a free kick in the 55th minute. Grigore Lăcătuș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Alupoaie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd match minute, FC SIRINHO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcu Miheș to maneuver through the defense. The audience held their breath when Niculae Rotariu in the 75th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Valer Spiridon's left hand side. If Mugurel Bolborici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Poju's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
